Offaly Rowing Club was established in 1985 from humble beginnings at Cappincur, on the Grand Canal. Our club house is situated at Lock 23.
Offaly Rowing Club has had numerous victories in Irish Championships and Regattas and at International Regattas.
We have had a number of our members go on to represent Ireland at Home Internationals, Coupe de la Jeunesse, Under 23 Wold Championships and World Championships. (Records with thanks to Michael Johnston & IARU).
Our members have also rowed with distinction in other clubs and universities.
